Mccombs MBA Curriculum

The first and second years’ fall and spring semesters are dedicated to the UT Austin McCombs MBA program. Only elective courses are offered in the second year of the program. During the first year of the program, students study classes from the core curriculum, most of which are concentrated in the autumn semester. Topics in disciplines including financial accounting, microeconomics, statistics, and strategic management are covered in some of the basic courses. During the spring semester of the first year of the MBA, you’ll start taking electives. Classes on topics including marketing, information, risk, and operations management, as well as business, government, and society, are among the more than 100 elective course options available.
