How Did You Choose Where to Have the Ceremony and Reception?
Choosing where to have your wedding or reception can be a daunting task, but with a bit of planning and organization, it can be a rewarding experience. The first step is to come up with an idea for a wedding or reception, and no, it does not have to be worth a million dollars. This can be anything from a new product Married in Yosemite or service to a new way of doing things. When you have the idea and have identified your niche (if any), you need to develop a business plan. This should outline your business goals, strategies, market research, and how you plan on achieving your objectives.
Next, it is essential to find the right venue by attending wedding fairs and meeting with wedding planners in person. After narrowing down your search, reach out to prospective venues and request proposals. Once you have selected a venue, it is essential to get started on the planning process.
What was your favourite part of being married in Yosemite National Park?
Personally, my favourite part of being married in Yosemite National Park was the sunrise. It was breathtaking to see the sunrise over the mountains and valleys below. Another favourite was the time we spent hiking along the Merced River. It was such a peaceful and serene experience to be surrounded by nature. And of course, there’s no way to forget the memories we made during our wedding ceremony at the Ahwahnee Hotel! It was such an extraordinary experience to be surrounded by Yosemite’s iconic sites and sounds. We enjoyed every minute of it!
If you want to be married in a lodge, this is the place. It’s been around since 1875, and it has all the rustic charm of an old cabin from back when everyone was living off-grid. Like any lodge, don’t expect too much space for your wedding–but if you come during peak season (spring), there might not be that many people there anyway!
Was there anything that went wrong at the wedding or something that surprised you when it came time for things to happen? As the events leading up to and including your wedding can be a little nerve-racking, it can be helpful to document everything in a journal or blog. This way, if anything goes wrong, you can go back and see exactly what happened and what you could have done to make things better. Additionally, it can be a great way to share your wedding memories with friends and family.
When it comes time for the wedding itself, be sure to have a plan. This should include everything from the order of events to where you will be during the ceremony. Stick to the plan, and don’t be afraid to ask for help when things get busy. Finally, take a moment to relax and enjoy your special day!
What was your most memorable moment from the wedding?
My most memorable moment from the wedding was when my husband and I danced to our favourite song together. It was one of the most emotional moments of our wedding, all because of the music!
How did you go about planning the wedding?
There is no single way to plan a wedding, as the specific details will depend on the couple’s needs and preferences. However, some general tips that may be helpful include coming up with a budget, choosing a date that works for both parties, and having a backup plan if something unexpected happens.
Once you have a general idea of what you want, it is essential to plan the ceremony. This can include coming up with a ceremony outline and deciding on the type of wedding ceremony you would like. Once the ceremony is finalized, it is time to plan the reception! This can involve choosing the wedding venue, designing the invitations and other stationery, and a budget for the event.
Be sure toasts are a must, as they can set the tone for the evening and provide a personal touch. Additional ideas for the reception might include hors d’oeuvres, a dance floor, and a photo booth.
Yosemite Wedding breakdown (in comments)
Hey everyone! We just got back from our Yosemite wedding and wanted to share a quick breakdown of what went down. We started planning our Yosemite wedding in the fall of 2017, and it didn’t take long for us to fall in love with the location. It’s a truly stunning place, and the views from Half Dome are breathtaking.
We started working with our wedding planner, Stacey, in the spring of 2018. She was so wonderful to work with and was able to help us plan every detail of our wedding. From the decorations to the ceremony music, everything was perfect. On Saturday, July 22, we married the love of our lives at Half Dome. The ceremony was lovely, and Stacey’s music perfectly set the mood. We had a few family members who attended from out of town, and all of them were highly impressed with the setting and the ceremony.
Hello. My name is Brittany West and I am an elopement photographer.
