National Geographic Photographer Sounds Alarm on World’s Oceans

Brian Skerry is one of the best underwater photographers in the world. The Massachusetts resident will showcase his award-winning photos,talk about his work as a photo-journalist and share his stories about the world under the waves. Skerry’s passion largely revolves around marine conservation, especially ocean degradation and overfishing. Skerry’s most recent work appeared in this past October’s National Geographic in an article about endangered right whales. Skerry was recently awarded BBC’s Wildlife Photographer of the year.. The presentation will begin at 7 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 1 in the Aquarium’s Harborside Learning Lab, located on the ground floor of the parking garage, adjacent to the aquarium. Admission is free.
