World’s Largest Truck Convoy for Special Olympics Minnesota

Truck Parking allowed overnight...Please use North Gate this year.

This event is open to the public. We really hope you will take some time from your day and come out and help support the athletes and drivers. Remember without truck drivers we would be without many things that we take for granted everyday. Have you ever wondered what it would be like to drive one of those big trucks? Well with the Dart simulator you can find out. It's free to try so come out and see how well you can drive one of those big rigs.

Friday:

Noon: Registration Opens and continues overnight

Dart Simulator and OOIDA Nascar will be there both days

7pm: Old Fashion BBQ - Bring your own lawn chair
Truck Driver Cooking Competition - Make a dish you cook in your truck.

8pm: Meet & Greet Country Artist - Nashville Recording Artist Leland Martin

9pm: Drawings for free door prizes and much more

9:30pm: Drive-In Movie - Convoy & Smokey and the Bandit

Saturday:

6:30am: Breakfast til gone

8:55am: Leland Martin opens with the National Anthem

9:00 to 10:30am: Opening Ceremony - meet CPL.
(will also do bidding for spots 1-2-3 in convoy)

10:30am: Convoy leaves out - route 169S 17-20 miles

Noon: Truck Beauty Contest and Lunch provided by Canterbury Park

1:00pm: Awards Ceremony
